Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Accreditation

Peak College is not accredited, and degrees and certificates of completion obtained from Peak College will not transfer to future education at other schools or colleges. Even though transferability of credits is a policy of the "receiving institution", most credits at non-public schools do not transfer. Peak College is not a public school. Peak College is a private "for-profit" school focused on student success. Our student satisfaction speaks for itself.

Who Founded Peak College

Peak College is owned by Northern California School of Construction, LLC Matt Klabacka in 2007 as Northern California College of Construction. Matt Klabacka has been a life long adult learner and returned to college at the age of thirty as a working parent and husband to earn his bachelors degree and masters degree in education from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.

It was during his adult education that Matt decided that adult education should be focused on applicable learning and focused on the student and not on the institution. Matt developed the "Klabacka Educational Approach" to learning or KEA. With KEA, Peak College the focus is on a curriculum that engages the student and allows relevant learning to educational achievement. Your education earned at Peak College is relevant and distinguishes you as a Peak College graduate. It is Matt's goal to continue to provide adult learners with convenient relevant education.
